Dear Indian media,

You stand for people. You stand for their voices. And, ‘people’ does not mean the majority, nor just our fellow Indian nationals, it should include people from every corner of the world. Each one of us, no matter where in the world we live, we need you.

You carry a great responsibility of equipping people with the right knowledge and unbiased information. You guys are the bank of knowledge, we expect research from you and not the shout. It’s you who let our fellow humans, living in radially opposite parts of the world, know how we are. And, it’s you who tell us about them.

We live in the hope you are performing this noble act meticulously and with utmost diligence. Are you? We expect humbleness from you, not only to us but to everyone, no matter if they have been a reason for conflict. You are a knowledge bank, not a hate bank. By the way, my grandma watches you the whole day, it’s your responsibility to treat her well, with healthy and wise knowledge and humble words, not with hate instilled phrases.

It’s your responsibility to bring our society, and our elders, in the right direction of thoughts. We believe in your ability to bring a change, all we need is the intention from your side. Please make us believe that you have the right intent. At last please validate your arguments. Remember: Validity is your utmost responsibility and purity is your greatest ethic, humbleness is your tool which will go a long way to make us believe in you.

With lots of hope,

A fellow citizen, just like you.
