Way back in 2012-13 ,we all cadets in sainik school were watching re-telecact of lok Sabha proceedings in anti room.I was very excited to see how leaders speak & what they speak in parliament.For around half-an-hour we saw the dabate wherein many parliamentarians came and spoke,but we could not get any at least I could not. Everyone was talking and shouting about their own self or party politics.
The school captain took the remote in hand to change the channel,at that very time Lok Sabha speaker announced ,Dr.Raghuwansh Singh from Vaishali Bihar would like to put forth his view.The moment we all heard the word Bihar ,class 11th from back shouted ,school captain sir please don’t change the channel and so did he.. when he started speaking everyone was silent and shocked in Lok Sabha that who speaks like this in his own coalition Govt ( he was minister for rural development in UPA 1) ,at least this doesn’t happen now.
What a visionary person he was.He told in Lok Sabha that development of Poor’s and farmers of the country is not possible unless every Panchayat have a bank branch mad every single citizen have bank account. He was Raghuwansh babu only that took historical step like DBT.
That’s a different thing that govt didn’t take his point seriously but today’s govt has agreed to his advice. In reality if we see life of Raghuwansh babu ,he always talked about the last person standing in the queue & betterment of public which was very apart from party ,cast & religion. Where will u find leader like him in true scene who is very down to earth and always put forth his view in parliament with realty and logic.
Raghuwansh babu ,Bihar specially the land of Vaishali and muzaffapur will never forget your work that u did in your tenure of being minister of rural development. You made all ditches-full-road of Bihar as smooth bas actresses cheek. Even today the sing board beside road reading “land of Gaya,Vaishali and muzaffapur welcome you” portray your splendid work and those work are of atmost Important at least in state of Bihar.
Babu knew that you would not be alive for more days at time of death he made several demand for the identity of democratic Bihar from CM Nitish Kumar,and this is what the real identity of a real leader who even after being in opposition make positive demand from ruling party. We hope that your all public intrest demand CM Nithish Kumar would listen to.
In our culture it is told that people at time of death ask for something but you made everyone emotional demanding the identity of whole nation ,wrote demand letter to CM that too with your own hand.
Raghuwansh babu your work deserve a place in museum .I request Bihar Govt that the letter that was written by him in his last time shot be honoured by placing it in Bihar museum with all due respect…
