Where Does India Stand In 2020?

कविता पकोड़ा भी नहीं बिक रहा

Since the beginning of 2020, we have been tired of hearing bad news. In this year, we have already lost so many things. We witnessed some critical situations like Covid-19, our soldiers were martyred, high unemployment, rain causing the flood in various regions, Visakhapatnam gas leak (Vizag gas leak).

Current Situation

The current situation says that our youth need employment, businessmen require demand for goods, students want education and the migrant labourers need work. And this problematic situation has been created due to Covid-19 and the sudden lockdown. Now, India needs to boost up its economy because India’s GDP rate has collapsed by -23.9%. We all know that everyone has been tapered due to Covid-19, lockdown and unemployment. It has been going worst for the last six months as so many lives have been lost while some died by suicide due to lack of money and being jobless. And some students are unable to take online classes.

It will remain in the leaf of history.

The youth of the country remains unemployed/Representational image.

India’s Mood

I think that “India’s mood is very depressed and turbulent”. We all are in hope, and from the depth of our hearts, we are praying that everything should be fine soon and we start living the everyday life that we used to before the Covid-19 crisis.

Bollywood Controversies

These days, the most highlighted point is Bollywood is the debates like SSR suicide case, the battle between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranavat and Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut. I don’t know whether it would have a good or bad impact in the coming time.

For Today’s Youth

Here I want to say that it will be great for us, especially for today’s young generation, if we raise questions to the government over unemployment. They should do a crusade against unemployment before the government. Our young generation should ask for employment opportunities. But somewhere, the youth of today are busy in using smartphones all the time and scrolling social media feeds and stories. These days our youth is very addicted to their phones; they really don’t know it has been ruining their life and career.

Counsel To The Government

Looking at the current scenario, the central government must do a study before making or taking any decisions because it doesn’t know how many gifts have been given to every Indian. Somewhere at this point, the government has failed to keep their promises as well, even then, it hasn’t stopped making fake promises. I think the government should make a plan to create more and more employment so that today’s youth would not be deprived of employment.

After that, think about our food provider farmers. Bihar, M.P. and so many other states, districts and villages suffered from massive floods, and in that condition, our farmers had to lose their homes, slums, domestic animals and their other belongings. Hence, the government should be aware that if in the future, a similar situation may arise and the government should have a plan to conquer the situation.

Atmanirbhar (Self-reliant)

The government says that we should be ‘Atmanirbhar’, but I have a short question, “Did the government think about how would we become ‘Atmanirbhar’?”

What about those middle and lower-middle-class families who don’t have much capital to start their businesses, because they have already taken loans and have been paying EMI monthly? And some of them have already lost their jobs.

Mental Health

In this pandemic period, so many people like youth, businessmen, students, private school teachers, migrant workers, hucksters, and those who earn daily and then fulfil their daily needs are suffering from a mental health problem that we call depression. So, I urge our government to please have a look and take some important decisions and create opportunities so that everyone can live an everyday life full of joy and happiness.

India Needs A More Effective Government

Now, India needs a strong decision-making government who can make strong policies and should know the knowledge of Economics and fulfil the needs of citizens. I think before taking or making any decisions, the government should ask people and take their opinions so that it would be easier to make the right decision.

Now I can only say that India is on the way to development but hasn’t developed well yet.
