To All NEET Aspirants, Here Are A Few Tips For Your Last Month Preparation

With NEET 2020 being conducted in the middle of the pandemic on 13th September, students need to adopt a very focused preparation strategy. Here is how you can tweak your strategy in the last month:

Target Topics to Score

With previous year papers, you can identify which topics and chapters your NEET preparation must focus on. Instead of covering the entire syllabus, divide the chapters based on their weightage of marks and questions in previous years’ papers.

Focus on Biology

If you are focusing majorly on physics and chemistry to increase your score in NEET, it might not be a good idea. Since biology alone accounts for 360 marks, your NEET preparation must focus on it. Many students get stuck near a score of 250 in mock tests. The key to improving that is to make biology your strength by studying and revising important chapters thoroughly.

Prioritise and Sub-Prioritise

Identify chapters and topics that had the maximum weightage in previous years’ NEET papers. Make sure you study and understand core concepts from these chapters as maximum questions are from there. Then, make a list from this and identify chapters that you are weak in. This way, you will fine-tune your last month’s strategy for the exam. Apply the same method to physics, chemistry and biology.

Prepare Short Summarised Notes

Make short notes of target chapters and topics. Go through them multiple times. This will help you prepare for NEET by letting you revise in lesser time. Start with the chapters you are weak in. Keep these notes handy during the last one month before the exam.

Mock Tests and Previous Years’ Papers

Take as many mock tests as possible. Solve previous years’ papers. Identify your weaker areas, study and retake the test to assess your NEET preparation. Aim to improve your score every time you take a test. Analyse how much you score in biology and how you can increase your score.

Take photos of important notes and facts

Click photos of important or difficult notes and facts from your phone. You can revise these whenever you are on the go. That way, these notes will be all-time accessible. You can also keep these notes at your study table or paste them on walls. Keep looking at these multiple times throughout the day.

These methods will surely help you with your NEET preparation and advance your score in NEET 2020.
