Periods , one of the huge problem of our conservative society. The Society which believes in treating our mother’s – our sister’s as untouchables at the time of periods.

I would just interrogate ?
Just think and answer How were you born if this didn’t happend ?

But let’s start our war of words without simply Beating around the Bush.
•So What’s a period basically ?
–> It’s simply regular discharge of blood , which is a part of puberty & adolescence, from the inner lining of the uterus through the vagina.

Now moving forward why the so called Society don’t understand it ?
To this I would just say that they are just an aware of what this thing is !!
They just think that it’s a curse to females by God and maybe it’s the reason why females are ill treated.
Our witless society had just imagined the latter !!

Menstruation has been surrounded by taboos and myths that eliminate women from many aspects of socio-cultural life. Many cultures hold on different beliefs and myths that restrict women from daily activities and hygienic health practices, which lead to adverse outcomes such as infection.
Studies reported that many girls had lots of misconception about the physiological changes during menstrual periods. Most of this information acquired from their mothers, television, friends, and teachers. Such taboos affect girls’ and women’s emotional state, mentality, lifestyle, and most importantly health.

And Yes , Mood swings is a fact too !!
It happens , and simply it’s the duty of their loved ones to handle and make them feel congenial.

~ USE OF SANITARY PADS ~
In India, a cross-sectional study was done on 160 participants and results in 32 women (20%) had an idea before menarche regarding menstruation. About 65% of women used only sanitary pad and 30% used only cloth pieces, whereas 5% used both pad and cloth piece. Prevalence of sanitary pad use was significantly higher among those aged.
Another exploration showed that most of the girls gained information about menstruation from their mothers ; just because it’s considerd that males are least unaware of it and Females just can’t share these thing and feel comfy in this patriarchal society. Menstruation is still considered as something shameful and young girls face many restrictions. Knowledge regarding menstruation, reproduction, contraception, and diet is still lacking among school girls.

Advancing to the exterminating of such natural feat , we should first beware of it and spread the awareness !!
So, predominantly the Colleen will have to open up and speak freely about it to the one the feel easy with.
Like if its natural then why to feel shame , some say it’s like a heart ; simply as heart is a organ and it pumps the blood , so as the menstruation is !!??♂️??♂️

Preceeding towards how Youth could bestow are –
Give her physical comfort: Give her a comforting hug, and if you have colossal hands , put them to some ethical use by giving her a nice Champissage. Let her sit on your lap, cuddle if she feels like it. Even holding her hand could make her feel better.
Eventually , I just don’t care wtf society thinks of it , but yaa unquestionably it’s legitimate or ordinary.
It’ll decidedly seem rude but it has to be , don’t you just think how they felt being laughed off or isolated.
I don’t know whether I’ll be able to make a change or end up getting spam reports but I would highlight
