Lately, I have been obsessed with Kangana Ranaut for all the wrong reasons. She reminds me of everything I did not become because I refused to give up on my upbringing and principles. Be it being loud to prove my point or biased, trying to achieve personal goals.
What agitated me more was the fact that she was given Y+ security while fighting a personal battle that surrounded her “revenge”. Thousands of women in my country continue to battle for survival on their journeys as they crash through eyes, hands and crotches, looking and touching them every day en route schools, colleges and offices. This is so normal that somedays the bitter pain of discomfort given by an unknown man is forcefully gulped and forgotten by the time a female reaches home.
While rapes, suicides and exposure to extreme domestic violence continue to rise at an alarming rate, a woman is given Y+ security for being a self-appointed Hercules against everything. The “innocent” public of this country has already forgotten that she started the fight for justice of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. She beautifully moulded the whole case to her advantage of reopening her old scores with the film industry.
As a frustrated “nobody” who also happens to be the face of millions of nobodies in this country, here is my sarcastic take on everything you can learn from Kangana Ranaut (I am using this purely to vent out my anger as a viewer and also as a tax-paying citizen of the country).
Great. Now you are all set for your success. Do pass the teachings to your kids too. Let them also learn the shortcuts to fame.
