Media is considered as the fourth pillar of democracy, even during an emergency it was media which highlighted the issue.
But of late media, has become just advertiser oriented and has completely lost the focus.
In the recent time for the past two months, the focus has been excessively on an alleged suicide case. While in the meantime, India has the second-highest covid cases, the death toll has increased. Activists are being mercilessly jailed. The economy has fallen. Job losses are at an all-time high. But, the media refuses to focus on these issues.
