Dear Nitish Kumar, Absence Of A Sea Is Not The Reason For Lack Of Industries In Bihar

Bihar does not exist near the sea so the big industries do not come here, said Nitish Kumar. The leaders are appearing weak while talking about the landlocked feature of the state. Reacting on this aspect, Tejasvi Yadav said that three factories had been set up by Laloo Yadav and till now nothing was done.

How does the ‘sea’ factor insert into the negligence of industrialisation during the last fifteen long years? Is it a substitute for land-locked topography?

Representational image.

The sea factor appears like a googly normally thrown in the game of cricket. Nevertheless, it does not appear appropriate to defend fault in the garb of a reason not existing on the ground. Such an assertion confuses us right now. Who can not oppose the illogical indication?

Once Lalu Yadav had said that he knows the trick to apply lotion on an injured flying bird. Was he thence more sagacious than the current utterances of Nitish era?

Only a politician can beat a politician, This is a hard, complex truth. A skilled politician knows very well how to reject the logic of another experienced politician. This trend can be very minutely comprehended during a TV debate.

Turning to the decrease in the number of factories in Bihar the defined thesis does not corroborate the causes. Does the sea aspect hold substance? Why does not the same parameters apply on too many other landlocked states?  Bihar’s immediate neighbouring state like UP shows the increasing trend in the number of factories if we attempt to go through the survey.

Bihar’s downward trend in the number of factories depends on several factors.

Bihar’s New Industrial Policy of 2015 is said to be the main reason responsible for the plunge in the number of factories from 2908 in the year 2016-17 to 2881 in 2017-2018. It all the more exposes the deficiencies inherent in the state government’s policy. There are various problems like sanctioning of loans, no administrative assistance, delay in land availability, etc.

Critics point out that the politicians do not care to rectify the flaws but find out bombastic reasons comfortably. Instead of focussing on relevant causes, the leaders present their theories that disturb the voters. This is intended for the benefit in the coming polls to be held in three phases in the state.
