Hathras Horror: Tragedy Or Pre-planned Trap

A recent rape case has shaken my conscience with so much intensity that now I feel no girl so far in this country is safe . . . not even within the walls of her home. Yes, I am talking about Hathras case. But when you look deeply into the matter, you will find a new angle of casteism. In official article on the case published on Wikipedia, here is little extract I want you to read and understand: “The incident took place on 14 September when the victim went to a farm collect cattle fodder. The victim was dragged away by dupatta around her neck injuring her spinal cord in the process. The girl was allegedly raped by four upper-caste Thakur men.”

Even when I got an email from Asma, Associate Editor at YOUTH KI AWAAZ, she didn’t forget to mention that the victim was a Dalit. Look, I really respect every community. In fact, I don’t believe in caste and all. But if the issue is raised, if the justice is seeked upon the tag that she was from a lower-caste community, I don’t see it as equality. I mean when you talk about Right to Equality, then you must not see lower caste and upper caste. You must only see the victim’s pain and struggle. That’s all. Therefore, I request everyone to stand for Manisha not because she was dalit but because they raped her.

Now let’s head towards the case report. When the victim’s mother found her laying naked and bleeding, with an injured tongue, she was at first taken to the Chand Pa police station, where the police rejected her claims and, according to the family, “humiliated” them. Police were able to record the victim’s statement on September 22.

The victim was initially admitted to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital in Aligarh 15 days before her death with her tongue cut off and spinal cord severely injured, among other serious injuries. She was later shifted to Safdarjung Hospital in the national capital after condition worsened. The police said the victim had been dragged into a field and gang raped. She had also been strangled with her dupatta. The victim died on 29 September 2020.

The autopsy noted that the victim died by “injury to the cervical spine by blunt-force trauma,” and the attempt to strangle her was not the cause of death. The “final diagnosis” in the autopsy refers to “tears in private parts,” while the autopsy referred to “rape and strangulation” in the victim’s medical history.

When the news broke out initially through social media, Agra Police, Hathras District Magistrate, and UP’s Information & Public Relations called it “Fake News”. Later a senior UP Police officer claimed no sperm was found in samples and that some people had “twisted” the incident to stir “caste-based tension.”

This was the whole thing. A girl, whose surname was Valmiki, a sacred name of the person who has written Ramayan, was being brutally raped under the same Rama Rajya where lord Rama was born.

In this case, government clearly exposes. And our filthy media, who earlier should have covered news on mental health, farmers suicide, students struggle with studies, etc., are giving not a bit of reaction on this horrondeos incident. They are still busy with bollywood, politics and fuckin’ shits. I am, at this moment, enraged against Arnab Goswami, who call himself a nationalist, has kept mum on this topic, still yelling “where are you hiding, Salman?”, “Rhea killed Sushant!”, “Kangana is real queen!”, “Deepika is druggie!”. Why is he not speaking for women? Why he doesn’t raise voice against BJP-OCCUPIED states? If the same incident would have taken place in Maharashtra or other congress or non-BJP states, then you would have a grand and epic drama to see on his channel. Like he used to question Maharashtra Government and drill Mumbai Police at that time, he doesn’t have enough courage to question Yogi Government and drill U.P police because that’s where he feeds from.

As you noticed that initially the victim was taken to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital in Aligarh and then she was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, why? The only reason of the same is health system of Uttar Pradesh has become from bad to worse. Now if you intervene me that it is because Delhi is a metro city and U.P consists villages. So what? The central government provides money to every government. The public of every state pays taxes to their respective government. Why they give that? Just because they want better health facility, better education facility in return. But are they getting it? No! Because the criminal ministers, no matter of Yogi or Congress, are eating it and so is eating the people’s trust upon a true democracy.

In this modern world where technology has immense grip and easing the people’s lives by every little and big mean, why is not government spending money on purchasing technologies for women security? Because they are corrupted. There are uncountable numbers of technologies available in the market that ensures women security. But government is overlooking them, because the matter of Mandir is more important than matter of Mahila.

Take 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder, 2014 Badaun gang rape, 2017 Unnao rape case and unlimited others who failed in having their voices achieve the public attention. Nothing has changed. So, in the last, I would like to say that as long as our government will not accept their faults and try working with honesty in heart, so long will not stop attack (physically, emotionally, sexually) on women.
