Even the pandemic crisis could not open our eyes. We were inhuman then, and we are still inhuman. Proudly and arbitrarily some people are taking law and order of our country in their hands. They are not ashamed of exploiting and ruining the dignity of women and girls.
We will never change our mindset unless some exemplary actions are taken against these monsters. Slashed tongue, broken spinal cord and strangulation are reflections of the cruelty and barbarism of these rapists. But we can only helplessly pray for justice, right? Only then, the tortured soul will obtain peace!
I also believe that rape is a more pressing problem than a pandemic for our society. Rooting out this visible ‘virus’ from the foundations of our society is actually not a tough job. It can be possible through proper counselling and insight.
Families play a vital role in shaping a youth’s mindset and imbibing a set of morals in them. At every step, parents should be aware of their actions.
Last but not least, robust punishment is required for such heinous and wild behaviors. Without strong punishment, such crimes would never stop.
