How do you break the glass ceiling to touch the sky? Don’t allow others to limit your horizons.
The glass ceiling is a metaphor for the indiscernible barrier that prevents people from getting a higher workforce rank. Various companies do not give the right place for women, despite high degrees and skill.
Here are some role models, people who have broken the ceiling! Let’s meet them:
Mithali Raj, The First Woman To Play 200 ODIs
G.C Anupama, The First Woman President Of The Astronomical Society Of India
Hina Jaiswal, First Woman Flight Engineer In The Indian Air Force
Gagan Deep Kang, The First Indian Woman Scientist To Be Elected Royal Society Fellow In 360 Years
I have some proposals to deal with the ‘glass ceiling’:
- Raise your volume: If you find any barrier in your way, speak up.
- Keep a tab on yourself: Always be aware of all the actions which are happening in your workplace.
- Transform frustration into satisfaction: You may face frustration while going through with the glass ceiling issue. So, be ready and use your frustration as your catalyst to cure your negative energy.
- Personal growth: Always be ready to learn something that fills with great joy and confidence that nobody can snatch from you.
