Why Do Indian Parents Never Let Their Kids Mingle?

He or she is Single and Ready to Mingle!

This may be a catchphrase in our Indian Matrimonial Sites.

But ironically, this is not the mental note of Indian Parents. Actually, they never want to let their kids move from their clutches. Be it a girl or a boy, no matter. They have an obsession to poke their dirty noses in the affairs of their married ones. In most of the cases, the boy’s mom evolves in creating an inimical effect on the marriage. They never let their boys grow cognitively strong enough to hold a decision. They never abandon them alone to think separately. In every facet of life, they yearn to be involved.

Likewise, a husband is asked to discuss everything with his parents related to his in-law’s families. He is unable to choose either of these people. He feels utterly helpless after marriage. Even in case of a girl, more often her mother is supposed to intervein in the affairs of her son-in-law. This inhibition also brings a severe hurdle to the matrimonial status of a girl. This type of needless intervention in the lives of the newly wedded couple brings erring and prejudices.

Hence, it will be a better solution to this problem to remain nonjudgmental and liberal. Indian parents should understand the value of privacy. In order to procreate trust and confidence in a fresh marriage, we should not inhibit freedom and free will.
