The times they are a telling
Of what lies in store
As mothers refuse to wean
And infants no longer implore
The men speak in lies
And fallacies abound galore
The honest lay in ruins
Whilst the thugs revel in their gore
The upright toss and turn
While the ignorant in their bliss snore
I pray I live not to see
The pathos of man as he sinks ever more.
