Coronavirus is not over yet. The danger has been averted, but it is not over. I don’t understand how people can be so careless to realise that it’s not over yet!
I recently saw the opinion polls of Bihar Elections. The journalists asked the people they were not carrying masks. The most unexpected answers were fired back saying- कोरोना तो चला गया है ना, अब है कहाँ है कोरोना? अब तो दवाई आ गयी. (Coronavirus has gone, right? Isn’t it over? Now, we also have vaccine) God only knows where is the vaccine and how it reached them.
It is a request, to take care of yourself and your family, don’t take the virus lightly. It was just for a short period when all news channels were flooded with news items on the virus. But they are commercial channels, and the fact is, they care only for TRP ratings.
They will only show the content which brings the maximum TRPs to them. Hence, they would not show news updates regarding corona; however, it does not mean that it is over.
In a national address dated October 21, 2020, the reverend PM said that people have become carefree and are not taking the disease seriously. Life has started, the economy will boost up, people will go out, but that doesn’t mean that corona will choose selectively. Everyone, I repeat, everyone is prone to the virus!
- Do wash your hands now and then.
- When outdoors, avoid touching your mask and objects unnecessarily.
- Drink either simple lemon water or the ayurvedic kadha to boost up immunity.
- Avoid unnecessary gatherings and maintain distance.
- Most importantly, please do not go out unless it is absolutely necessary!
Don’t put yours, and your loved one’s life at risk. Due to your carelessness, you might lose someone dear to you.
