What Does ‘Real’ education Mean Today?

Education is not just about byhearting what’s on the books and omitting them on the answer sheet, nor about boring G.K (general knowledge) which is a must for all Indian kids. Wake up, guys! We are living in the 21st century where we have surrounded ourselves with modern gadgets for all our daily use. We don’t need to spend hours on reading G.K, that too a year-long edition to know what’s happening around us. We have Google, and other things to help with that.

Real education must prepare us to face the world. It should be a journey that will help converts us from HUMAN BEING to BEING HUMAN. I feel that the present education system must change for the sake of all. It should prepare one for the future. Teach them:

1.How To Deal With Stress

2. First Aid

3. Compliment Others

4. Create A Budget

5. Time Management

6. How To Pay Taxes

7. Write A Letter

8. How To Cook & Use Basic Kitchen Appliances

9. Wash Your Own Clothes

10. Atleast A Basic Understanding Of Sex-Education

I am not completely criticising our education system, and there is no doubt our education system is advancing. But there’s still a need to steer the wheel in the right direction.
