I Went A Day Without Using My Phone, And Here’s Why You Should Too

As we’ve all become addicted to our technological devices, I had been thinking about not using my phone for a day. So, after thinking about it, I finally decided to do it on Sunday.

I didn’t use my phone for the whole day last Sunday. The main purpose of this step was that I was feeling like I was spending a lot of time on my phone and wanted to get rid of it. I took this tiny step, but honestly, that whole day instead of using my phone, I didn’t have even a single thought about it the entire day.

This decision might seem futile, to quit your phone only one day in a week, but from my own experience, I got good results after taking this step.

I feel our youth is susceptible to social media, and they have all have become addicted to their electronic devices. Even toddlers have an addiction to mobile phones and all the devices that their parents possess. These activities have a bad effect on a person’s life.

The need for the hour is to keep ourselves away from indulging too much in technology. Using excessive social media not just consumes our time but it has a very bad impact on our mind too. We can’t deny how useful technology is in this modern world, but as every coin has two sides, technology also has its negative side.

I think we all must take some sort of action as I took, to make yourself less addicted to technology,

Nowadays, social media, including WhatsApp, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, and so on has become an inseparable part of our lives because we made it so. Posting everything on social media is not worth it, for instance, uploading food and where are you heading to on social media is never going to help anyone, rather it just consumes your precious time.

So, don’t waste your time on social media, you can make your time much productive and do other things like reading, writing, and more.
