When I was in class 12th, I read about the relationship between needs and wants, demand and resources, and at that moment I thought this world operates through desires…the desire to experience the thoughts and emotions we always fantasized about. They are like the stars you always believe you will meet one day. I always wondered if is this the world I dreamt of, why can’t it be like a Bollywood movie where Shahrukh Khan says “ki agr end mai sb thik na ho toh woh the end nhi hai, picture abhi baaki hai” (It’s not the end if everything doesn’t work out)
Numerous rape cases, crime, and violence has shaken our society to the core. Let’s add one more dream to our books. Let’s free our country, our Bharat, our motherland from persons like Duryodhana and Dushashana. Let’s make our life a little less fanciful and our motherland, an example of Ram Rajya. Let’s take a oath, that there will not be a Draupadi again. Let’s appreciate each other’s work, “kyuki babumoshai, zindagi lambi nhi bdi honi chahiye.” Rewrite your story…. rewrite your destiny..the one where you are your own hero..where you can see yourself with pride!
