The Most Unusual Election In The Most Unusual Year: The Biden-Trump Battle

The weather is changing, the mood is changing and the leaders are changing too. The pandemic has changed everything from everyday life to politics. The dancing virus has impacted trivial and significant. What cannot be visualised is happening amid the atmosphere of uncertainty after a series of touchy confusions like the 74-year-old outgoing President Trump taking over and declaring false victory in the 2020 US Presidential election. It took him a long time to accept that he has lost the polls with a big margin, as the final counting of votes headlined Joe Biden winning the required 270 electoral votes. The former Vice President appeared fully practical with the chance of clinching the presidency.

The entire world is in awe of the unbelievable results. The elected President has not only broken six records, but changed the concept of electing a new leader. He has earned enormous votes by winning in some of he Republican states.

Not only did Trump keep repeating, “If you count the legal votes, I easily win,” he also falsely claimed: “If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us.” He continued to maintain this claim, but of what use it was! Uttering for almost 20 minutes in a controlled and dim voice and providing no testimony for his charges, the seemingly tired Trump stated that the overjoyed Democrats are “trying to steal an election, they’re trying to rig an election, and we can’t let that happen.”

His claims lost the ground and President-elect Biden will have complete say in the matters concerning the White House in days to come.

“भाकपा माले की नेता कविता कृष्णन ने कहा है कि बिहार में चुनाव नहीं आंदोलन था.”

Just the same can be said of the US elections, where 77-year-old Joe Biden has amassed above 270 electoral votes, while the Republican Donald Trump won only 214 votes. Was it not a movement too? It has also been reported that Ivanka will persuade her dad to concede.

“Mr Biden currently leads incumbent Mr Trump by 4.1 million votes nationwide out of a record 147 million cast and said Americans had given him the mandate to tackle the pandemic, the struggling economy, climate change and systemic racism,” a news report said.
