This Is How India’s North-Eastern States Have Fought And Managed COVID-19!

They are known as the ‘seven sisters’ due to the proximity between the states in terms of geography and the independence between the political, social, and economic areas in vast ethnic and religious diversity. The states are Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, and Nagaland. Although they share the least spotlight, they never fail to win. The country is less worthy without the ‘Seven Sisters’.

It’s your prejudiced ‘precautions’ about them that made them believe that they are ‘Seven Sisters,’ cut off from the so-called mainstream Indian society, which possesses unparalleled traditions and vibrant culture. Women there not only survive but are free, spreading love and prosperity. As the whole world is affected by the SARS-CoV-2, commonly known as Coronavirus, the Seven Sisters are also reeling under it. But, their struggles aren’t broadcasted. It gives me goosebumps that even today, the Seven Sisters aren’t counted as a part of the nation proudly. Today, let us proudly share the strategy of their fight against COVID-19.

Where the population of India estimated 1,38,72,97,452 as of 1 January, 2020 (i.e. around 1,38,73,00,000), there the Seven Sisters recorded approximately 4,80,00,000, which is nearly 3.46% of the total population. As of November 13, 2020, India has recorded a total of 8.73 million cases.  India’s first COVID-19 positive case was reported on 30 January 2020 in Kerala, which had increased to 5-digit numbers, i.e., more than 37 thousand as on 1 May, where the sound LATE added before one’s denomination is more than 1200. Out of these recorded details conferred by the Government, the ‘Seven Sisters’ have reported filing only 61 numbers of cases officially till 1 May.

Where India reported the first COVID19 positive case on 30 January, the surge in the number of cases in North East India have belated by two months, and they reported the first COVID-19 case on 30 March.

It’s true that when the first case was reported, they became gloomy and perhaps lost their fringe to fight with COVID-19. But today, the Seven Sisters are boastful when they contrast their fightback assimilating with the whole nation. Yes, they are discontent when they are not highly prospered or broadcasted nationwide.

Where there are more than 37 thousand total cases in India, they have only 61, which is only 0.16%. Where there are more than 26 thousand active cases in India, they have only 13, which is only 0.05%. Out of nearly 10 thousand cases, those are recovered, they have proudly recorded only 48. Where there are more than 1200 deceased cases nationwide, they have lost only 2, which is only 0.16%. The Seven Sisters are not so much worst worthy of their precise action taken, hence being nominated as THE WARRIOR OF COVID-19. They believe they will defeat, and they will win the war.

Yes, I’m bold. Yes, I’m egoistic when I confer myself as a part of THE SEVEN SISTERS.
