Bihar Election: After Win, Will Nitish Kumar Enjoy Similar Authority In The New Cabinet?

The Shakespearean sentence “To be or not to be” still haunts the mature mind of incumbent chief minister Nitish Kumar, a socialist by ambition and a staunch opportunist for the past years. Various twists and turns have compelled him to explore solace in the dark alleys of opportunism. He seems to be standing between Scylla and Charybdis if it is not a totally wrong perception. If he happens to go into the lap or hands of the presently emboldened BJP, he will truly not be capable to enjoy the prior steering position owing to his extremely poor numbers in the election results tally.

Obviously, the strategic saffron party will try to lay its hands upon the plum cabinet posts in the new ministry to be formed after Diwali’s dazzling days.

(Sushil Modi said, “Nitish Ji will continue to be the Chief Minister because this is our commitment, no two ways about it. In an election, someone wins more seats, someone less, but we are partners in this”.)

However, luck and opportunity keep life moving on as fast as it lingers, as mighty minds used to insist. In this sparse pursuance, if he opts for the clever suggestion of a senior Congressman to go to the side of his nephew by renouncing the saffron ideology, he will find enough ways to enjoy prior authority with all the ease.  No matter if his number stays more than him. What he has to think upon is the return on the quest for ease in life in some way or other. He is entitled to continue with comfort in his old age and that’s what relies solely on him; it will make him so great among the experienced politicians, as several people think. Even Uma Bharati has praised Tejashwi Yadav.

(“Tejashwi is a great guy. But, he wouldn’t have been able to run a state. He can, but after he’s grown up a bit.)

Will Nitish Kumar, a big JDU leader, keep her words into consideration? How different will it be when an experienced politician like him would promote a learner in the complexities of politics? He will thus not only strengthen the country’s future but also train the line of emerging politicians encompassing the idea of Bihari First with his logical training. He will thus demonstrate himself as a Modern Chanakya of Bihar, where Modified samosa becomes singhada, peanuts become chiniya badam, and the highly educated female candidate fails to secure security deposit in recently held assembly elections. Opponents keep on criticising the Congress Party for being an elders’ associates but is the BJP wary of this objection?
