Workers Of The World Unite: The Task of The Revolutionary Party In 2021

workers

A new calendar with a change of dates, but no qualitative change as far as the proletariat is concerned. They are sick, hungry, ignorant and looked down upon by the bourgeoisie.

A proletariat is a worker who owns no means of production, like a piece of land, an implement, factory, etc. They own labour-power, which they sell and get wages to survive.

A bourgeoisie is the one who owns the means of production, capital and hires those who need means of subsistence in the form of wages and uses their labour-power in creating a new product which has value. This value is split into two parts, the first is given to the workers/proletariats as wages and the second part is usurped, which is not paid to anyone, called surplus-value or profit.

India’s farmers protest.

There are visible “changes”, mass protests worldwide under different banners led by the working class and peasants and oppressed people. Europe, Latin America, U.S., Arab countries, India and many other countries’ pockets are witnessing mass commotions and protests, even leading to violence. Some are examples of “colour revolution” like in Hong Kong and Belorussia (Ukraine).

There have been bloody wars like in Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, old ones continuing like in Syria, Palestine, Yemen, etc. Almost all of them had imperialist interventions, even if not started by them, making a huge profit by selling arms and ammunition. Recent wars have seen an increase in drone strikes, and the war lobby, agents and mongers have been very active in procuring and selling them as middlemen.

The proletarian is witnessing rising miseries, further pauperisation, swelling in the Reserve Army of Unemployed Labourer (a continuous phenomenon in any capitalist society/country), corresponding proportional revolt and state repression and, sadly, disunity among its rank and file created by the bourgeois political parties.

The coronavirus pandemic, economic recession world over, and the lack of the revolutionary parties to lead the working class to take over the state power, despite tens of millions of them being in the street, have encouraged the monopoly capitalists imperialists and their political managers, state and its machinery. The ruling class has offloaded all the burdens of economic, social and political woes on the exploited class’ shoulder.

Not to list all the woes of 2020 or the earlier years, which has led us in today’s position, what we must do is see the trend of the changes, the changes in process, analyse them dialectically, relearn basics of the revolutionary ideology for the proletariat, learn the need of the dictatorship of the proletarian class from what we know from the French revolution to Soviet Revolution and their fall, rebuild the revolutionary party based on democratic centralism, educate the masses and prepare for the revolution.

We need to get out of the token protests, get out of the reformism that kills the revolutionary masses’ spirit and protest. However big and long the duration, get out of the identity politics. We need to uphold the revolutionary line, follow class politics, aim the proletarian revolution to take over the state, form a new proletarian state, and construct socialism based on common ownership of the means of production.

Workers of the world unite! Long live the revolution!
