The GOD has Created this Universe while The FARMER is the FEEDER of this Universe!!!
Today most of modern cities or urban population is unaware of what an Indian /small farmer goes through. We must respect and value the Farmer’s contribution to our lives.
The current farmer protests is unfortunate and there is need of constructive, continuous dialogue is the need of the hour.
The CHAI PE CHARCHA is the MUST in the given situation.
The both sides have their views and to come to a common agreement, there must be a healthy and open minded discussion with all the relevant stakeholders ( including the ones who are not protesting and even supporting the bills)
These discussion must have experts including economists, policy makers and Kisan leaders as well.
All fears and reservations must be discussed without any hinderance and even the Government should also be open to accept all drawbacks and commit for the well being of our farmers at large.
There needs to be open discussion on MSP, essential commodities, APMC, open market, contract farming and it has to be in writing/amendment and has to be executed in Fixed Time frame.
Majority of our farmers are poor and he can not earn decent income on regular basis and this is what the focus should be from bot the sides, unless our Kisan is happy, our country will never progress.
It is painful to see our farmers sleeping on the road over a month, in such a chilled weather and I hope the discussions start immediately and the normalcy comes soon.
