Quick Byte: Are E-Sports A Boon Or Bane For Real Life Sports?

As we all know, during this pandemic, real-life sports became a big problem as it involves physical contact. Instead of going out, people started to play games online like PUBG, VALORANT, CS: GO. Tournaments, aka E-Sports,  were organized, which helped the gaming industry get a huge profit in such a short duration as everybody is smart these days, and so are their mobiles and devices.

Electronic games can help people learn, focus, and multitask

So the question that arises here is why and how much is it affecting real-life sports? First of all, the answer is clear: it has an almost negligible impact on real-life sports because it provides entertainment on social media and Youtube. So, it becomes a way of earning for many streamers and also enhances the game spirit.

In research, it was found that playing video games for 10 hours a week stimulates areas in the brain associated with memory, motor, and strategic planning skills.

In fact, electronic games can help people learn, focus, and multitask. But if there are advantages, then there are disadvantages also. Due to electronic games, kids are getting very much attracted to them at such an early age, so it affects their mental health, questioning their physical health.
