It seems like the Indian government has signed a death warrant for the farmers. When they were protesting peacefully, what was the reason behind stopping them at the Punjab-Haryana and the Haryana-Delhi borders using tear gas, barricades, water cannons, and lathi-charging them?
Are our ‘Annadata‘ (provider of food), who fills our basic need of food, “terrorists”?
Instead, people from Delhi and Haryana are helping fulfil farmer’s needs. Agriculture employs around half of India’s population. These ordinances will create a vacuum in the present agriculture system, that may just result in utter chaos. Now people from across the country, and also other countries, have stood up and are protesting in favour of the Indian farmers, and against these ordinances. Indian government MUST take back these ordinances.
