Farewell to 2020.
Let’s extend a hearty welcome to 2021. Let’s throw a valediction to this year with a heavy heart. The year 2020 has imbibed us with abundant knowledge and some vital lessons for the rest of the world.
Let me render a few pointers to all of you.
1. Nothing is permanent. We have taken everything for granted in the previous years. Even the vivacious nature of the surrounding Mother Earth didn’t incite awe within our soul earlier.
2. In the rat race, we have forgotten to stand and stare.
3. The art of appreciation has completely vanished from our luxurious and astounding lifestyle. Hence, this year will always remind us of our callous attitude and how we paid a hefty price for our manipulating behaviour.
4. The ongoing fear of the pandemic: The pandemic is the result of our lack of insight and farsightedness — the ever-going lockdown harbours the meaninglessness of our lives.
This too shall pass. Yes, everything changes. Like a cycle of events, good and bad news rotate in our lives. Just have faith in God and seek a balance in your attitude.
The lesson learned during the pandemic: Man has now learned that it is vital to harmonise with all the natural resources of this Universe. Without synchronising all natural resources of our Mother Earth, we cannot create a holistic approach towards a better place to live in. So, the entire year of 2020 was witnessed as a gateway to spirituality.
Let’s embrace 2021. Let’s reimagine a new year with a lot of hope and release ourselves from the trappings of gloom and misery. Let’s hope that we can relieve ourselves from the stress of the pandemic with an elixir in form of the Covid-19 vaccine. Let’s see a bright future of glowing aspirations for life only. Let’s start from today with a better strategy to disperse the vaccines to the right people who seek it the most.
Next to that, our government should plan accordingly how to distribute the vaccines universally irrespective of caste, gender or race and so on.
