Autobiography Of A Year Gone By: A Political Saga

How would I want to situate the autobiography of a year went by? Well, leaving aside broad guesses, I became a witness to the pronouncements of the pandemic, which left us with disquiet, dismay, and despair as for our inability to come up with coping measures to overcome this strain and situation are concerned.

Literally, struggling and battling with our civic existence as for our amity, cooperation, and collaboration for addressing and articulating our response and reaction to the crisis in hand. Hollow words and empty rhetorics failed to involve, engage, inspire and excite our people, distinguishably alienating our people for the mastery and command of our leaders and politicians over the minds, hearts, feelings, and emotions of the people.

Representation Image. They should have concluded with a resolution on people’s questions, which for the ruling regime at the centre became an electoral agenda and arithmetic.

They should have concluded with a resolution on people’s questions, which for the ruling regime at the centre became an electoral agenda and arithmetic. Alas, being put on the run in election rallies and campaigns significantly catch the nerves and pulse of the people.

I understand that it is no way to assist the common and ordinary instead, at best, it deflects and deviates us from the realization of our aims, aspirations, and ambitions. A state which seeks separation and segregation of individual’s moral rights and duties can never be its legitimate defender.

Though individuals are not shying away from signalling a shift in their behavioural attitude, belief, and stance, the states should become more representative of their role and responsibility as a facilitator and mediator for bridging the divide. Let’s see if we all up for the reversals as for the illustrations and insights emanating from the autobiography of a year gone by.
