2020 was a rollercoaster ride. But it’s still hard to fathom, was it really hard, or a bitter tonic humankind needed to realise where its humanity stands? We have already gone so far that it has become hard to analyse our purpose of being on this planet and its importance. This year made us understand that we humans aren’t superior.
Yes, it is true we that we have marked our existence everywhere, but this year has taught us that there is something beyond us. Hopefully, it will impact us better after all the sufferings and losses that we are still trying to remove from our memories. Time can heal anything; all one has to do is to be patient.
With all of its cruelty, this year also brought many lessons. Families are more close to each other; people started finding themselves. We became more comfortable with this concept of uncertainty which I think everyone is afraid of.
From here on, we should learn to be more kind and take steps forward with more compassion. All we know is uncertainty and all we can live for is the certainty of moments.
