Is the vaccination drive against Covid19 a priority or a privilege for our policy planners? What do they wish to achieve and accomplish on the road to making India a self-reliant country? Well, they have the mandate to do so but at the same point, it becomes equally important to responsibly and dutifully address the genuine concerns and issues of the common and ordinary people.
Due to the thrust on vaccine drive, politicians might try to use it to score points in constituencies.
No, doubt inoculating a country of one hundred and thirty crores is in itself a mammoth task requiring assessment and evaluation of the available alternatives, resources, and manpower pressing all those familiar with the processes and procedures as for this initiative to become advantageous to its beneficiaries. In my opinion,n the unnecessary and unwarranted hype takes this exercise to a point of no return. Why, can’t we simply accept this fact as for the approach and attitude of our political leaders, representatives, and parties.
Refraining from indulging in cheap theatrics, publicity and sensationalism should do in enlightening people with valuable insights and information. At least please don’t dishearten people’s trust and faith as our population has a lot of expectations from this vaccination drive. Politics thrives on agenda, occasion, and opportunity. Given the thrust on vaccine drive, politicians might use it as a billboard for broadcasting their political constituency counting as a priority for us individuals.
A sharp contradiction in sight though given the penchant of the said rulers in managing and marking events extensively.
