What Didi Should Do To Get TMC Back Into The Political Race

Mamta Banerjee undoubtedly is a popular people’s leader in Bengal but she’s unable to calm and claim the turmoil within the ranks and folds of Trinamool Congress. Vaishali Dalmia, TMC leader, was quite categorical in her arguments and articulations, believing that though Mamta didi will be somehow able to pull up a surprise in the assembly elections, there is a lot at stake for her.

Primarily there’s her lack of emphasis on the code of conduct for party leaders and councilors, leading to subversion of ethics and decorum in the party. Secondly, their unruly political acts of corruption, nepotism, and favoritism have brought a bad taste for the party.

Thirdly, lack of leadership roles and ranks at the local level has significantly reduced the party’s chances at the grassroots. She also maintains that for the party to bounce back, all these considerations need to be taken into account.

How else can you stay politically relevant as an option before the people of the state? Mamta Banerjee’s popularity alone won’t do. Neither Prashant Kishor’s strategy and advisory will be helpful if the party cannot walk out of its bubble by looking the other way round.

The time for playing the blame game is over, and TMC should get back to its shoes. This is what Vaishali buys and believes in. TMC leadership has to accept and acknowledge this fact. If not for Vaishali Dalmia, who else will make them realize this better.

Didi, please take TMC’s access and control into your hands.
