The truth is, nature holds the potential to heal itself from all the damages we have done to it. This requires some action from us, like halting deforestation, excess extraction, mining and starting reforestation, limited extraction, and mining. By stopping all the detrimental human actions on the environment, we can give space and care for nature to save the ecosystem.
When we protect the coastal areas, drylands, wetlands, mountain regions, and forestry, it possesses the wonderful ability to control greenhouse gases and carbon emissions by storing them in itself. But it is wrong to say we protect nature when the case is that nature protects us too. The mitigation measures are carbon-neutral transportation, sustainable cities, green infrastructure, clean energy sources, eco-friendly risk reduction initiatives, restoration and rehabilitation of the biodiversity and ecosystem.
In this fight against climate change, nature is our best partner. Oceans are capable of absorbing more than 20% of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The terrestrial ecosystem cleans pollution and emissions. Halting land degradation and deforestation can help land and trees to cut short the carbon dioxide and provide us with fresh air and water.

This clean energy would also curb carbon footprints. Simply, nature-based climate solutions are the absorption and storage of excess carbon in the atmosphere by natural factors like oceans, trees, wetlands, and mountains to tackle climate change.
