NTA UGC NET 2021 (Dec 2020) Exam in May 2021: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced UGC NET December 2020 Exam Dates at its official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in. NTA will conduct UGC NET Dec 2020 Exam from 2nd to 17th May 2021 to determine eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities & College. In UGC NET June 2020 Exam, 40986 Candidates Qualified for Assistant Professor only, 6171 JRF & Assistant Professor, 4935 for National Fellowship.
If six months time enough for UGC net preparation?
The word Timetable reminding me of my school days.. where I waited for Free or Games or Literary period.
Back to the question, it is absolutely true that timetable leads to systematic studies and that in the time frame. That leads to better utilization of resources especially time.
A. We have first of all collect syllabus, study material, Old exam papers, guides, etc. and that too as early as possible. Here Previous Year Question Papers.
B. Paper 1 is most important in the NET exam, and for July 2018 exam, this paper 1 will have a 50 question out of a total 150( paper 1+2 together ), so paper 1 = 33.3%, and so this is the most scoring section in the whole exam, regular practice time must be allocated to this paper. I will say at least 1 hour daily. Take any guide, I will suggest Arihant paper 1 guide, and try to solve one chapter daily. Also, solve at least one dummy or old exam paper twice or thrice a week. In a week so paper 1 must be allocated at least 12–15 hours.
C. As in July 2018 exam, paper 2, will be having 100 questions. One must double-time allocation on the same pattern as of paper 1. 24 to 30 hours in a week.
D. Mathematically, if a student devote 60 to 75 days for NET preparation, and on lower/upper side 12+24 = 36 / 15+30= 45 hours a week means 5–6 hours daily. 1–2 hours for paper 1. and 3–4 hours for paper 2, student can be in top 1% and can achieve JRF in first attempt.
E. With Hard work one must not forget that we have SMART work also. One can use Youtube Videos, google and wikipedia for notes preparation and doubt clearing. E-material on phone etc can maximise time utilization.
what is UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2021
There are a lot of terms and conditions when it comes to the eligibility criteria for any exam. But to sum it up in short, you should fulfill the following criteria to apply for the UGC NET JRF exam as per the official UGC NET Notification 2021.
- Age Eligibility
Your age should be less than 31 years on the first date of the month in which the UGC NET JRF Exam registration process would be concluded. There is also relaxation in the upper age limit for the UGC NET JRF 2021 exam which can be checked in the UGC NET 2021 Notification.
There is no Age Limit for NET, i.e., Assistant Professorship.
- Educational Qualification for UGC NET (General)
You should have a Master’s Degree from a University/Institution recognized by UGC with a Minimum of 55% marks (this will be 50% in case of SC/ST/PWD/transgender candidate) or grade.
