Delhi: Students Of 9th And 11th Classes To Attend Schools From February 5

The whole world is struggling with the Coronavirus epidemic, although this virus has been largely overcome in the present days. Meanwhile, the schools of 9th and 11th standard are going to reopen from tomorrow i.e. 5 February in Delhi. But with the reopening of schools in Delhi, many rules have been made keeping in view the safety of students.

Students in the school will have to maintain social distancing, along with using sanitiser in a proper manner. It will be mandatory for all students to follow all the protocols which are made in view of coronavirus. Students will be able to attend school only after the allowance of their parents.

Delhi’s Education Minister Manish Sisodia said that, after the closure of school and college for ten months, it is now being opened for examinations and practical preparations. Therefore, it is necessary to make complete arrangements for the reopening of schools and colleges.  Also, he said that social distancing should be followed in every classroom, along with the availability of sanitisers and it will be necessary to wear a mask.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that better preparation and counselling of students is necessary before the examination, so it has been decided to open schools and colleges with caution so that children can come to school with the consent of their parents and get used to the atmosphere before examinations.

The Deputy Chief Minister also said that this will not be able to compensate for the loss in studies during the last one year, but the rest of the time should be well utilised. The first focus is on opening education institutions well and protection from Covid-19. After this, results will be focused on.

Let me tell you, in view of the board examination, the Government of Delhi ordered to open schools for 10th and 12th standard on this year 18 January, and now schools in Delhi are also going to reopen for 9th and 11th standard students from 5 February.
