Can The BJP Sweep Power Away From Mamta Didi In Bengal?

BJP In Bengal

If the BJP sounds so confident about its prospects in Bengal, then why are they banking on Poriborton yatras? Shouldn’t a rally and tour of the state be enough for JP Nadda and Amit Shah to stake claim to power in the upcoming assembly elections in the state?

Hindutva Thus Becoming The Companion And Champion Of The Saffron Party

Why, for the Bhartiya Janta Party it always starts with propaganda and polarization falling short of alternatives, ideas and visions. Unable to get away with the political rhetoric of religious communalism and chauvinism the Bhartiya Janta Party has been able to float a considerable electoral constituency which no other political party has been able to muster and match.

Hindutva thus becoming the companion and champion of the saffron party ensuring it’s successes in the electoral contest and battle even in states where the party remains a marginal player. In a communist-ruled Kerala, the party warmed up to a strategic show on the issue of Sabrimala temple where menstruating women are not allowed entry inside the temple.

Leading to sudden and spontaneous stir, clashes and conflict involving different sections and groups of people resulting in violence and vandalism challenging their traditional notions of purity and pollution. This opens the gateways for the BJP in the state for future political expansion, as the RSS also strengthens its foothold.

Similarly, in Bengal where the BJP registered an impressive record performance by winning eighteen of forty-two seats ringing at Mamta’s doorbells- the challenges for the party are quite many. Firstly, within the BJP there is disgruntlement, given the inclusion of TMC rebels spoiling the play before the start. Secondly, internal factionalism and feuds are high in the saffron party as the BJP has no Chief Minister face to take on the likes of the Mamta Didi. This might lead to them indulging in poaching local TMC leaders in its ranks.

At best they might try to break a few more councillors and workers of the TMC, but is it going to be of any benefit to them? They are resorting to the chantings of “Jai Shri Ram” filling a sense of purpose and pride in the electorate of the state doing away with Mamta didi’s “maa, maati and manush.”

On the day of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary celebrations, BJP supporters deliberately disrupted CM Mamta’s speech in Kolkata. Poking her by enthusiastically chanting Jai Shri Ram in their capacity forcing the chief minister to walk away from the stage. Amounting to the humiliation of a two-term elected people’s leader and representatives.

I would like to know as a conscious citizen and voter, how the BJP would willingly organize, assemble and organize it’s cadres if for governing Bengal. Is it going to be any different from Mamta, who has dealt the charge of the state from 2011 till now, as she was not going from one post to pillar acquainting the people with the thirty-four years of Left misrule in the state? Don’t know what a curious BJP in the crazy adventurism of Bengal settling anyhow for occupying the role of principled opposition in the state.

Nadda Ji, you literally need to watch out for all the decisions you are making in consultation with the top brass of your party. Be careful!
