“I want to make engines that run on hydrogen. I want to discover medicines that have not been discovered yet. And I wish I had grown up as a scientist so that I could have found a solution to the pandemic. I’d like to become a scientist so that everyone is benefitted from what I do or discover.”
Clad in red and yellow, fidgeting at first to settle it with dreams that rose next, the girl, anonymous (making you care less about her name) yet certain, gentle yet firm, caught my attention like nobody or maybe somebody. Her flying ideas, her dreamy colours and the gripping grit that had its say.
At Pehchaan Street School, the process continues and so does the journey. The budding dreams and the budding efforts find their channel here. Almost conspicuous and muted in its efforts, the organisation makes every possible bit to reaching out to the maximum it can. Ain’t any day that sees it going blank. Over it are the occasions, small and big, all that are sure to be celebrated with these children. The gleam of curiosity that those eyes cast on you is irreplaceable. The joy of giving away remains your only takeaway.
And while the dreams parachute to newer heights every day, sometimes shaky and bubbly, otherwise can be given a firm ground to grow and flourish. All that shall thrive upon your contribution.
For the only thing we can ever do to make a change is do.
