We Need To Let Girls “Find The Words Themselves”

Edging their power, girls have now learnt to put their words emphatically and soundly before people in society. I have been speculating about it a lot amid viewing an Urdu Drama Qayamat on TV. Given the state of society as we find today, writing down those bold feelings does not drag them from straight speaking.

The way a character holds the hand of her elder sister’s mother in law in a scene of the drama shows that girls are quite bolder now. They know how to raise their voice in defence. It was a slightly daring scene but a straight slap upon the overwhelming tormentor.

Nonetheless, as education expands among girls in contemporary times, they have been using the opportunity to realise the dignity of happiness in society. Of course, when gentle girls realise the impact of their voices against earthly atrocities, their courage tightens their courage for the vital battle of life, which has certainly been difficult for them.

That meant what is formed in reality appears more dangerous. Was the pursuit of happiness, giving rise to complications in scientifically advanced times? Putting her views in writing, Michelle Obama expresses: “To give the girls in our lives the kind of support that keeps their flame lit and lifts up their voices — not necessarily with our own words, but by letting them find the words themselves.”
