Umesh and Kuldeep likely to play the final test

Speculations have been made regarding the pitch as some reports say that it will turn from the first day as the 3rd test while some reports speculating that Indian team management will opt for the more traditional flattish test match wicket.

Since Jasprit Bumrah has been released from the squad on the grounds of personal reasons, he will not available for the final test. According to the report, senior fast bowler Umesh Yadav likely to replace the Bumrah in the team. Umesh has been included in the squad before the third test match in Ahmedabad but could not make it to the playing eleven because team management went for 3 spinners strategy.

Umesh last played in the second test match of the Borde-Gavaskar trophy in Melbourne, where he injured his calf muscle and could not able to bowl in a majority of the second innings. After the completion of his rehab and passing the fitness test on 22 Feb, he has been included in the squad for replacing shardul Thakur. In the absence of bumrah, Umesh can provide much-needed support to the spin duo of Ashwin -Axar with Ishant Sharma.

kuldeep to replace sunder:

It seems like Washington Sunder and Kuldeep Yadav has been exchanging seats in this test series with each playing alternate test matches. According to sources, Kuldeep could be back in the playing eleven replacing sunder for the final test.  Sunder played ahead of Kuldeep in the third test for his superior batting ability and handy off-spin but he failed to make a mark with the bat with scoring 0 off 12 balls, on the turning wicket, he could not get a chance to bowl much in the match ( 4 balls) picking up a wicket of Jimmy Anderson.

So the team may decide to give Kuldeep another chance in the final test. but the final call will be taken after all the consideration.
