T20 is Cricket asking for attentiveness, quickness and cleverness if you were to win a game or two. I don’t understand why Team India despite bringing the English cricket team down in the tests has been unable to do a turnaround in T20s primarily for the reason of indulging and engaging in experimentation demoralising the capacities of the player. Despite the English team’s rotation policy in the tests they miserably lost the title to India as it is the prowess and purchase of the player that makes the difference to the side in the field.
I am of the considered opinion that in the power plays India has to score runs than losing wickets. Also, they should fill up their playing level with a sixth player doing away with the batting deficits as the red soil pitch in Motera is attracting a lot of spinners but with an extra bit of pace and bounce. If they were to press with these changes than I am sure that the Indian team can give a challenging fight back to the English team throwing its weight behind some exemplary and outstanding presentations of intent and intensity. So, what if it has to do with Jordan, Bairstow, Wood, Ben Stokes? It’s high time Virat Kohli should take a better call.
