Covid-19 :- Journey from disease to Epidemic

Today I’m connecting with you all and may be you are watching or working from home during this time of the Covid pandemic.

Yeah ! This is a difficult and challenging time for all of us . And we are getting so much information , that it can make us worried , confused and scared .

Since you people are kind of known to Covid-19 but still I want to pen down my input so to get a clear picture of it .

So basically Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment. Last year when Covid -19 hit us ,we all were terrified to seenumerous  deaths , to see millions and billions of burning pyre . It gave us this mindset that next victim is not us . But in  2021 , scenario just got more evil .  This year more than 2lakh cases have occurred in  last 7 days and around 185k people lost their lives . This is such a heart wrenching situation for us . Newspaper is poured with articles related to corona now a days , every alternate day we hear lakhs of cases in social media .  This year situation got worse  because there’s a shortage of ICU beds , oxygen ,plasma , PPE . So in this case how people will be  saved who are getting affected  . Yesterday I’m scrolling to  Instagram , I have seen a picture and that gave me goosebumps  , there’s an auto rickshaw and child was lying dead in mother’s feet because  she was not getting doctors who can treat her child . Problem in India is we were never got prepared for this .This is not one heart-breaking story , there’s thousands and lakhs of stories are prevailing which we can only hear but they all crossed those phase .

I’m personally ashamed of humanity because most of the people are doing black-marketing of oxygen and many more needy stuffs . Person who is in need of oxygen they are getting in prices which they can’t even afford . Think twice , it’s the Covid-19 who is taking lives of the people ,or the people involved in black market. Never thought people have to pass over this sickening phase .

So far, as many as 31,06,828 recoveries and 60,473+ deaths have been reported. Out of the total fresh cases, 8,479+ were reported from Mumbai. 53+ lives were claimed by the virus in the city in the last 24 hours. There are 87,698+ active cases in Mumbai while the death toll stands at 12,347+.  The need of the hour is that of oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, hospital beds and medical kits for frontline work. Even a small contribution from your side will make a huge difference. Let’s do our bit in finding the Pandemic and help save lives.
