Can Localised Lockdowns Help Arrest The Rise In Covid-19 Cases?

covid 2020

How would you react and respond to localised lockdowns? In my opinion, it seems like an effective counter to contain the spread of Covid-19.

Localised lockdowns and night curfews may help break the chains by making the population careful about the dos and don’ts.

The last few days have seen cases picking up one after the other in metropolises like Mumbai and Delhi on account of the economic actions and activities of specific sections of the population suitably benefiting from their ranks and roles in the hierarchy. They have the right resources to ensure their wellness and well-being come what may of the situation and circumstances as they thoroughly depend on it for their survival and sustenance.

Localised lockdowns and night curfews may help break the chains by making the population careful about the dos and don’ts. Vaccination drives were vividly illustrated as campaigns against the virus minus the mutating strains in the face of limited quality research analysis. I sincerely believe that our scientific community comprising researchers and doctors should come forward with their findings, bettering their chances of finding a permanent cure to this deadly disease claiming innumerable innocent lives.

Although lockdowns and curfews are fine, they are not enough to address the arrest of this virus wreaking havoc on humanity. Better sense should prevail as unwillingly we have to acknowledge and appreciate the art of existing and evolving side by side this virus.

Plain and pure!
