With No Outdoor Activity Or School, How Can We Help Kids Remain Positive In Pandemic?

Despair is currently trending everywhere. We can see darkness all around. The fear of death is looming over our lives. Kids are the most affected ones in this catastrophic failure. They are frequently charged with negative emotions such as anger, aggression, throwing tantrums, mood swings and stubbornness.

How to help a kid in this disastrous situation where we are all trapped in helplessness and hopelessness? I am conveying some pointers to dispel darkness from their lives. By realising the system of the Universe, we can attain a positive attitude towards our current situation. Light always follows darkness. After sunset, we have to wait for the sunrise ritualistically. So why can’t we imbibe this spirit of positivity right now?

How to help a kid in this disastrous pandemic situation where we are all trapped in helplessness and hopelessness?

Due to excess screening, gluing ourselves to gadgets, being addicted to online games and lack of outdoor activities, our children are currently grappling with unprecedented fear and trauma. Due to such type of exposure to misery and distress, kids are exhibiting mental illness and stress.

So, awareness of golden ideas such as “This too shall pass” can help them to dispel this continuous fear and anxiety. We have to strengthen our faith and hope in the Almighty. Imbibing positive attitudes with prayers and meditation is the gateway to heal from such sufferings. We can only focus on light rather than loss and darkness.

Children are fragile and emotional. Thus, by instilling discipline and aspirations, we can together fight against this pandemic and save our kids from being a lost generation for future India.
