Opinion: “The Population Needs To Be Controlled, But Not Through COVID”

Indian people are so casual in their attitudes that they don’t even care about their lives. The first wave of corona got over, with a fair number of deaths. This incident wasn’t enough to teach a tough lesson to the countrymen to take precautions and be safe.

Conditions are getting worse during the second wave of the coronavirus, and nobody is ready to understand that knowingly or unknowingly, they could be the victim of it. Anyone could be. Hospitals are running out of beds and oxygen cylinders, people have to get tokens to get their beloved ones cremated, and the country cannot afford another lockdown so as to prevent depression in the economy again.

It’s solely the people, the population, or it would be better to say- uninfected and alive populations, who are responsible for their good health. It is simply common sense that they need to apply in order to know what should be done and what shouldn’t. Nobody is a kid out there who needs the government to work for them. What will the government do? Vaccinate the population? They already did, and the process is still on. Another lockdown is simply not possible. The government cannot go door to door and convince people to cover their faces with masks, wash their hands every now and then, and get sanitised.

I whole year ‘tuitions’ of all these things have been already spent. Every condition, every pro and con is before the eyes of the nation. Obviously, the population needs to be controlled but not this way.

It is really high time to give a thought to it, or else the country’s future seems to be very dark.
