Two Bizarre News Items That May Shape Bengal’s Future For The Better

Two hugely astonishing news items caught everyone’s attention in Bengal. One was an angry bull moving into the crowd collected at the rally in the Howrah district. Another was a Muslim man’s whispers into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s one attentive ear in the South 24 Pragana district in West Bengal.

Though both the odd situations remain distinct, these purely relate to the Bengal election campaign. One was reported from the Howrah district, while the other has been noted from the South 24 Pragana district.

A Bull entered Mamata Banerjee’s rally in Howrah district and a Muslim man was seen whispering in PM Modi’s ear.

Often, a real incident weaves itself into uniquely uncommon narration through most of its intensity. Perhaps both the factual episodes were inevitable amidst the hullabaloo of the election campaign. The enthusiastic, loyal supporters would all be fretting more deeply about the respective parties’ priorities at that delicate moment.

Suddenly what a distinct spectacle erupted. As the political leaders were trailing and reordering their respective campaigns in Bengal during these new, vaccine-tempered days in the pandemic, there were some bizarre scenes to stare at. How a raging bull caused quick tension by its undesirable presence needs review, and further, the act of whispering may shape the future for the better in the state.

One enraged bull created a ruckus at the rally site for a few minutes. Despite Z plus security allotted to Mamata Banerjee as State Chief Minister, an irate bull tried to break the highly impenetrable encirclement. The people who turned up there panicked and the police sweated hard to make a bull run away from the venue.

This weird spectacle would have been caused after some lapse in police arrangement, or it was spontaneous as no one got time to go over the sudden spurt. Thank God, the crazy bull withdrew, snuffing fire out of its nostrils from the packed ground. If it had stayed longer, the damage could not have been averted. Luckily It was good for TMC as the bull fled.

Sonarpur’s viral photo has been telling its particular story, but the media did not seem to have taken enough interest in this matter. Whosoever snapped the picture by applying his photo capturing skill at that opportunistic moment has brought a diverse image. The capped man’s reach up to the PM was in itself an adventure.

Was he known to the PM or a party man? He not only reached near the PM but was courageous enough to whisper in his ear for a few seconds as the image informs. The PM also lent him support and listened to his points attentively. He even was seen putting his hand on the youth’s shoulder.

(Sharing the image on his Twitter account union minister Prakash Javdekar wrote “people of Bengal are now turning towards development”).
