With the entire country reeling under the second wave Covid-19, we need all the help we can gather. For UP-based Shuchismita, the virus has badly hit her nation. When her people were stricken with the virus, she spent a lot of time searching for hospitals and beds in the city, but found the situation dire and alarming.

Using SITE123, Shuchismita designed the website grnoidaresources.com for her city in just two hours and launched it on April 27. She explained, “It’s a progressive website, which means you don’t have to download anything. You can load it from your browser on your smartphone or computer. You can even pin it to your home screen. In essence, you don’t have to give us any of your data.”

The website caters to different needs for Covid — it lists sources for oxygen, Fabiflu, Remdesivir, ambulances, meal services, blood banks, and more. You can find leads from these different categories on the website.

“When you look at the rising number of cases, you realise that there is so much more work more to be done. The infrastructure is crumbling, there are so many people who need help, and we also want to help the government tackle this. We cannot just sleep knowing that,” she said.

“We are really grateful for the kind of support and hope that more people from other cities can be impacted by our model,” Shuchismita concluded.
