We Should All Do Our Part In This Fight Against Covid-19

The other day I was going to get the COVID-19 vaccine and on my way, I saw a bunch of people, regardless of age and gender, who were not wearing a mask or following social distancing. These are the same people who gather in a group and then they will talk about how the government failed in this pandemic, “no one is doing anything”, “doctors and hospitals are just looting money”, etc.

Okay, let’s believe all these things for a minute, but are we doing anything? There are two sides to every coin. Instead of blaming the government or just depending on the government, we are supposed to help in any way we can. There are people, NGOs, the Indian government, and countries worldwide helping us in this critical situation.

In this hard time, we can at least tell our society members to wear a mask. We can stop elders and children from going out, ask vendors to wear a mask, stop our neighbours from gathering, stop spreading negative news or rumours on social media, give food or water to someone or at least tell those with a mental illness, “Hang on a little bit more, everything is going to be fine.”

And next time someone tells us, “Covid is nothing and nothing is going to happen and masks or vaccines do not protect you and we are all going to die someday,” I request you to tell them to shut their mouth because we can’t afford to lose one more life due to stupidity of some people.

STAY POSITIVE TEST NEGATIVE.
