Quick Byte: This Pandemic, Let’s Celebrate Eid By Thanking Allah For What We Have

Nowadays, the presence of the pandemic can be felt everywhere. There are sounds of screaming and crying from all sides. This crisis has made someone’s lap dry, demands of many wives has been devastated and many fathers’ shadow devastated to their children’s heads. No one is looking forward to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr, but on the other hand, with the end of Ramzan, we may see sadness in people.

After researching for Eid shopping, I found that this year, more shrouds are selling in the market than the Eid dress. As we know, Allah or God does not allow us to celebrate misery for long. He has given us so many facilities in our life. We should pay thanks for that all the things we have and the easiest way to do that is by sharing. But that does not mean that we wear new dresses and go outdoors to celebrate and party. By distributing zakat and khairat, and offering namaz, we may pay thanks to Allah. Personally, I pay thanks to God for this.

This Ramzan, I also saw many children fasting, even though they aren’t obliged to. This Eid-ul-fitr, we may find the rich and the poor wearing the same dress. May the light of the moon fall directly on you and may Allah bless you with everything you desire today. May Allah bless with kindness, patience and love.

Eid Mubarak.
