The difference between Criticising and trolling

In simple words,  critics don’t intend to hurt or offend they intend to educate and point out the wrong. Therefore critics will never comment on body size or anything along those lines. Whereas the sole purpose of a troll is to hurt you and belittle you. The sad reality is, many of us claim to be open to “constructive criticism” but the minute we receive any we go into fight and flight mode. Things are easier said than done, this is my personal opinion but I don’t blame people who are unable to talk constructive criticism, I do not think they’re egoistic or weak. I believe we’ve grown up surround by people who are unable to take constructive criticism, we learn from our surroundings. Again, that doesn’t excuse our temperament but it explains it. Plus, women and queers, go through so much of this, “Oh! you don’t know what you’re talking about!” That it’s absolutely understandable that they are no longer able to distinguish between constructive criticism and condescendence. Personally, I have started to take condescendence with a pinch of salt now.
