Quick Bytes: The Pandemic From A Doctor’s Eyes

Prayed or preyed? Still today we stand confused, for more than a year now the entire doctor fraternity and the paramedic staff have messed up their sleep cycles, no timely meals, and all that stuck in PPE kits. And still, we are prone to violence and blames. The beeps, the oxygen, and the fear of death we see daily are much more than in previous times which is sufficient to cause us distress. But then we remember we are the soldiers fighting this pandemic and have to save all with all our zeal and wit.

Already the ratio of doctors is less and amongst all this, we are losing some of them due to corona and some due to violence and bloodshed. Whether sick, whether pregnant, whether junior, or whether a senior, everyone is at your service for ages we don’t demand any appreciation because that is what our profession and the oath is. We never wished for all the losses or deaths, every patient we lost took a piece of hope from us. But still, we stand strong to not let you fight this battle against corona alone. This virus even took some of us away. Some are sick and some still battling tough. All I would say is together we will fight to stop this violence and don’t let your trust and hope demise.

Stay strong, we can get a new wave soon. And please wear a mask, maintain social distancing and get yourself immunized to survive this pandemic.
