Who Is Going To Take Blame For The Vaccine Oversight?

Don’t we know how bizarre the Covid situation has become to handle? Reacting and responding to the pandemic fraught with concerns, crisis and challenges as for the reluctance and hesitation of the Centre in tackling the situation head-on. Staying on the far end with states on the receiving end, ordering and arranging the scramble on their own around the time when the second wave was on the peak.

Lack of access to basic healthcare facilities and resources became the primary reason for casualties and tragedies. Oxygen supplies were hindered, ventilator beds were not in adequate numbers, with the procurement of vaccines done at snail’s pace.

I would like to know why Covaxin and Covishield vaccines were not available for those falling in the age group of 18–45? I don’t understand the purpose why many of us were made to register on the CoWin app, which was totally insignificant.

Now, with the Centre promising free vaccines to 18–45 beginning 21 June, didn’t this whole exercise look contradictory. Shouldn’t we be contesting the claims of the bosses occupying the highest ranks and offices in the Prime Minister’s Office? After all, somebody has to take the burden of the blame.

Modi Ji is flocking crocodile tears, politically picking and plugging a connection with his constituents who, for reasons unknown to them, supposedly believe in whatever is being said and stay by the Pradhan Sewak.

So what if there literally was scarcity and shortage of vaccine supplies, at least Modi ji successfully bought them from abroad? Sputnik has come, Moderna and Pfizer are on the way. If we were to go by the testaments of this class and community, being sceptical is unwelcome.
