PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s Term Ends, What Does This Mean For Israel?

Israel’s Parliament voted 60-59 abruptly bringing to an end Benjamin Netanyahu’s twelve years of presidency. Israel has had four elections in the last two years with no clear winners as for the arithmetic of cobbling alliances and coalitions.

Ultra Nationalist Naftali Bennett will serve as president for the next two years with his centrist ally Yair Lapid taking the charge after two years. I believe that all Netanyahu’s misadventure in resolving the Palestinian issue with display of violation of rights and dignity in Gaza didn’t politically rescue him as for his corruption charges dashing and disabling all his hopes of a comeback.

Representative image only.

Maybe, he fell short reading between the lines as for his armed forces physical prowess and might be against Hamas whom Israel treats as a “radical Islamic terrorist” group controlling the fate of many ordinary Palestinians. Israel was “justifiably” acting for securing and safeguarding its territorial integrity and sovereignty maiming, silencing and butchering the Palestinians for want of revenge and not remorse for anything.

Benjamin Netanyahu persuading, organizing and mobilizing the public opinions to his benefit but then that wasn’t enough to arouse the passions and sentiments of people who were up against his misrule and misgovernance mocking those toiling for meeting their ends. How can the nectar of narcissism and nationalism be of utility when at the very fact it categorises and distinguishes people in clusters and communities what about the fulfilment of their basic objectives and interests.

Israeli citizens have got the answer as for the replies to their queries and concerns. Bibi, can sit and awkwardly smile for a while speculating on a turnaround as for the slim majority to the ruling coalition partners. At best assuming the charge of chief steersman of his political formation rising sharply to the occasion and opportunity.
