How I Created A COVID Network To Help People Find Resources

It was very disheartening to get the news of losing someone you know to an invisible virus. As a young 16-year-old prodigy, I went live on the morning of 20 July, 2020. I could no longer meekly witness the havoc that the current pandemic–COVID 19—was raging across the world. Thus, feeling compelled to act, I sprung into action the moment I learned about a possible cure in the form of Plasma donation.

To control the rising number of deaths that had gripped the nation, on the fateful day of 5 July, 2020, I addressed the problem of connecting real-time patients with the recovered ones and came up with a remarkable idea of bridging the gap between them. Without any further ado, I ideated the concept and started saving valuable lives.

Contrary to my expectations, I was able to connect more than 90+ people. During the second COVID-19 wave, I created a team of a few people to coordinate and help to connect COVID-resources. All day long we were busy on calls arranging oxygen cylinders and scarce COVID medicines.

But at the last, I would say it was worth it. I believe that even if I was able to save one life, I would have accomplished my mission because every single life matters.
